My supply orders fulfill out of our main warehouse and it has a 15 day min/max level. Due to vendor purchase programs/rebates, etc, we will purchase up to 90 days worth of some products and keep them in secondary locations. I am looking for a way to generate a transfer request to restock my primary location that can only hold limited quantity of each item. Since my main warehouse is the parent warehouse of my technicians it cannot have a parent to restock from. If I set up a child warehouse for my day to day supplies (15 day OH) all of my sales orders would pull from the overstock locations or go to backorder and need to have the bin locations manually changed every time. I would like to be able to have a "grandparent" warehouse to act as an internal distribution center that can maintain its own min/max levels to be able to restock my main warehouse. - Example, If I keep 10 toners in my default pick location "A" to pull from daily for sales orders, but have 100 in location "B", I would be able to run the ILC and get be able to create a transfer order instead of purchase order. E-Automate currently does not allow a parent warehouse to have a parent of it's own.
