eAuto Address Validation

We'd like to have address validation built-into the core product. Ideally at point of record creation for any locations in eAuto, it should take this address and run it via a 3rd party API service to verify the accuracy of the address, this should be street-level validation. At the point the system validates the address it should provide a prompt box either saying the address is correct OR showing the current entry and the corrected entry next to it and offering the option to either leave alone or update/change the record to the correct address. After it validates, there should be a green checkbox or icon to indicate this address is correct. The screens should also correctly log who created the entry, when/who modified it for easy accountability around this as well.

In the short term, it would be nice to have a custom service created that could take the eAuto addresses, send them to a 3rd party API, validate their accuracy and then write back the accurate address. Maybe even update a custom property of AddressValidated=yes or something so we know what has been touched or not. A daily or weekly rollup email sent to defined users could show what has been modified and the pre and post values for an additional layer of validation.

We already have integrations to UPS ShipExec built into the ESN so we just may need a few additional endpoints written to cover this use case. UPS already has solutions in this space as well as some good 3rd parties, see below:
